WHAT TO EXPECT
At A Family Legacy, we know reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re looking for answers for yourself, your child, or your growing family.
From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is simple: to help you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Whether you’re preparing for motherhood, searching for answers for your child, or looking to create a healthier future for your family, we’re honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST VISIT
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive access to your intake paperwork.
This gives us the opportunity to learn about your health history, current concerns, and goals before you ever step foot in our office.
The more we understand your story, the better we can serve you.
If questions come up before your appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
Your Family's Journey Starts Here

STEP ONE: CONSULTATION, EXAMINATION & NEUROLOGICAL SCANS
Your first visit is all about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface.
We’ll begin by listening to your story, discussing your concerns, and performing a thorough examination.
Using safe, non-invasive neurological scans, we’ll evaluate how your nervous system is functioning and adapting to stress.
While symptoms are important, they don’t always tell the whole story.
These scans help us better understand how your body is adapting and provide objective insight that helps guide your care recommendations moving forward.
STEP TWO: REVIEWING YOUR RESULTS & PERSONALIZED CARE PLAN
Next, we’ll sit down together and review the findings from your examination and neurological scans.
Our goal is to help you understand:
• What we found
• How the nervous system may be contributing to your concerns
• Areas of stress we identified
• The recommendations we believe will best support your goals
This is your opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and feel confident about the path ahead.
Every care plan is personalized because every person and every family is unique.
STEP THREE: BUILDING HEALTH FOR WHAT MATTERS MOST
As care begins, our focus shifts toward helping your body adapt, heal, and function at its highest potential.
Each adjustment is tailored to the individual and their unique needs. Depending on your age, health goals, comfort level, and examination findings, care may include a variety of gentle approaches designed to support nervous system function and help the body adapt more effectively to life’s stresses.
Whether care involves a newborn, a child, an expectant mother, or an adult, our goal remains the same: to reduce stress on the nervous system and support the body’s God-given ability to heal, grow, and thrive.
Through regular re-evaluations and neurological scans, we monitor progress, celebrate victories, and help you build a stronger foundation for long-term health.
Many families are encouraged to see not only changes on their scans but also improvements in their daily lives—from better sleep and more energy to greater resilience and overall well-being.
Because our goal isn’t simply to help you feel better.
It’s to help you live better.
Our mission is to help you build the health, resilience, and confidence needed to focus on what matters most faith, family, purpose, and the people you love.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are a cash based office. We accept cash, check, card, HSA, and Flex Savings (FSA)! We do not bill insurance so that we can provide care individually tailored to you, instead of care that is dictated by your insurance provider. We strive to offer affordable financial options so the entire family can get the care they need!
We currently do not accept Workers Compensation, Personal Injury, Medicare, or Medicaid. We apologize for this inconvenience!!
Yes! Dr. Josh uses gentle adjustments and techniques specific to each child's needs and development. The nervous system of a child is more sensitive than that of an adult. Thus, kids' adjustments are different than adult adjustments. For example, adjustments for a baby feel the same as checking to see if a tomato is ripe. It is very gentle!
