The Kazee's
My wife, Tabbatha, and I created A Family Legacy because our own family’s understanding of health was transformed in ways we never expected.
Like many parents, we were simply trying to make the best decisions we could with the information we had at the time. We wanted our children to be healthy, resilient, and able to thrive, but like most families, we often felt overwhelmed by conflicting advice and uncertain about where to turn for answers.
As we learned more about the nervous system, the body’s incredible ability to adapt and heal, and the importance of supporting health proactively rather than simply reacting to problems, our perspective began to change.
What started as a professional passion became deeply personal.
The principles we learned influenced the way we approached pregnancy, birth, raising our children, and caring for our family’s health.
As our understanding of the nervous system and the body's God-given ability to heal grew, so did our confidence in the choices we made for our family. That journey ultimately led us to welcome our first child through a natural water birth at a birth center and our youngest two through home births.
While every family's story is unique, those experiences reinforced our belief that health is not something we simply react to when problems arise, it's something we intentionally build, protect, and pass on to the next generation.
More importantly, they taught us that health isn't something we chase only when problems arise, it's something we build, nurture, and pass on to the next generation.
Professionally, I’ve spent the last seven years serving families in leadership roles within some of the nation’s largest neurologically focused family wellness chiropractic practices. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of helping care for thousands of individuals and families while training doctors and healthcare teams to better serve their communities.
Through those experiences, I’ve seen something remarkable: when families begin to understand the connection between the nervous system, stress, adaptation, and overall health, they often discover a level of hope and confidence they didn’t realize was possible.
We believe every parent deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered as they navigate their family’s health journey.
That’s why God placed a vision on our hearts to create A Family Legacy a place where families can find truth, hope, healing, and community while building a strong foundation for generations to come.
journey with you.
No matter where you’re starting, you’re welcome here.

Meet Dr. Josh
Hey! I’m Dr. Josh Kazee, and if there are two things that have shaped nearly every major decision in my life, they are faith and family.
Long before A Family Legacy ever had a name, God was already shaping the vision behind it.
I was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Kentucky, and like a lot of families, we grew up relying almost entirely on the traditional medical system. From a young age, I struggled with ADHD, hyperactivity, anxiety, dyslexia, and significant learning and comprehension challenges. My mom worked incredibly hard trying to find answers and support for me. We tried different avenues, different approaches, and eventually medication. For years I was heavily medicated, and while it could help temporarily, I never felt like we were really getting to the deeper issue. Eventually, I accepted the idea that this was simply who I was and that I would always struggle in the same ways.
That perspective changed when I was introduced to neurologically focused chiropractic care. I still remember one particular day when it felt like someone had pulled the drain plug out of a bathtub and everything that had been backed up suddenly released. For the first time, I felt like I could think more clearly, settle, and regulate in a way I hadn’t experienced before. It made me look back on all the years my mom had spent searching for answers and think, How different could our lives have been if we had understood this approach sooner?
That experience completely changed the way I thought about my own health and eventually the health of the families I would go on to serve, including my own. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the nervous system, for regulation and adaptability, and for looking beyond symptoms to ask what may be happening underneath them.
I graduated from Logan University in 2019 and spent the next several years practicing in high-volume family chiropractic offices. During that time, I had the opportunity to care for thousands of people, train other doctors, lead teams, teach workshops, and work extensively with pregnant moms, babies, children, and entire families.
Along the way, pediatrics and family care has always been much more than a professional interest for me.
My wife, Tabby, and I have built our own family through pregnancy, birth, sleepless nights, toddlers, big emotions, and all of the incredible chaos that comes with raising young children. We’ve experienced three natural births, including two home births, and our family has deeply shaped the way I think about pregnancy, childhood development, and the responsibility we have as parents to give our kids the strongest foundation possible.
Becoming a dad changed the way I practiced.
I became increasingly fascinated by the nervous system and the enormous role it plays in how children regulate, adapt, develop, and respond to the world around them. I began seeing more and more families dealing with things like sensory challenges, difficulty regulating, behavioral struggles, developmental concerns, pregnancy stress, birth trauma, and parents who simply felt like their child’s system was constantly stuck in overdrive.
That’s where neurologically focused chiropractic care became such an important part of my work.
Rather than simply asking, “Where does it hurt?”, I want to understand how well the nervous system is adapting to the physical, chemical, and emotional stress placed on it.
And that is ultimately why we created A Family Legacy.
The name means a lot to us because health is bigger than one person. The way we care for ourselves today affects the lives we build, the children we raise, and the generations that come after us.
Our vision is to create a place where families feel known, heard, encouraged, and hopeful—a place where moms feel supported through pregnancy and postpartum, where parents can better understand what may be happening beneath their child’s struggles, and where families can become more proactive about their health rather than waiting for problems to become crises.
Our faith is at the center of that mission. We believe people were created intentionally, that the body is wonderfully designed, and that every child and family carries tremendous God-given potential.
Outside of the office, I’m usually with Tabby and our kids. Family life is loud, busy, imperfect, and easily my favorite part of life. I also love strength training, running, learning, teaching, about anything out in nature and spending way too much time thinking about how we can help families understand health in a simpler and more empowering way.
But enough about me.
I want to hear your family’s story.
Whether you’re expecting your first baby, navigating challenges with your child, trying to become healthier as a family, or simply looking for a different approach to wellness, we would be honored to walk alongside you.
Welcome to A Family Legacy.
Building Health for What Matters Most.

Why we chose the name, A Family Legacy
A Family Legacy is more than the name of our practice. It represents the heart behind why we built it.
The “A” is especially personal to our family. Each of our children’s names begins with the letter A, so it serves as a daily reminder of who we are building this for. It also points us back to the foundation of our faith, that God comes first and is at the center of everything we do.
Family is the reason this work matters so much to us.
We believe some of the most important things we pass down are not material things at all. They are the values we live by, the way we care for one another, the habits we create, the faith we model, and the way we teach our children to understand and care for their bodies.
And that is where Legacy comes in.
Legacy is about what continues long after us.
What if the way we approach health today changes the way our children approach health someday?
What if they grow up understanding their bodies differently than we did, learning from an early age to be proactive, to respect the way their bodies were designed, and to build health before they are forced to chase sickness?
And what if they pass that understanding on to their children?
That is the kind of legacy we want to help families build.
Not simply feeling better for a season, but creating a healthier way of thinking, living, and caring for the people who matter most.
That’s A Family Legacy.
Building Health for What Matters Most.
We know every family’s story is different.
Some families are just beginning to explore natural approaches to health. Others have been on that journey for years.
Some have had wonderful experiences with traditional healthcare. Others are still searching for answers.
Some parents arrive feeling confident in the choices they’ve made. Others carry questions, frustrations, or even guilt about decisions they wish they could revisit.
We want you to know something:
You don’t have to have everything figured out to belong here.
Whether you’re seeking support during pregnancy, looking for answers for your child, or simply wanting to create a healthier future for your family, we’re honored to walk that with you.
